1600 female candidates apply against 56 seats of nurses in LGH

Lahore: The process of receiving applications regarding three-years training course for nurses in Lahore General Hospital has been completed on Saturday. 1600 female candidates have applied against 56 seats however the admission would be made on merit while a total of 2005 admission forms had been issued.

Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib Wahra has directed the administration of Nursing School LGH to keep in view all the rules and regulations during preparation of merit lists so that no candidate could be deprived of his right. He made it clear that admission would be made under government policy and on merit and F.Sc. would be preferred. He said that the educational documents and domiciles of the selected candidates would be verified and in case of bogus documentation, admission would be cancelled. Free accommodation and scholarship would be given during the training course.
