Investigation Police Saddar Division arrest 178 PO’s

Lahore: Investigation Police Saddar Division during crackdown against the Proclaimed offenders arrested 178 POs during the month of August. They include 11 POs of murder cases, 13 of dacoity, 12 of robbery, three of attempted murder, 18 of theft cases and 121 POs of other crimes while 45 court absconders were also arrested.

As many as six murder cases, two kidnapping for ransom cases, three dacoity, 28 theft & robbery, five vehicle snatching, 15 stolen vehicles, 17 burglary and 416 cases of miscellaneous crimes were challaned by Saddar Division investigation police during the period. It also recovered looted property in these cases which includes six cars, one carry dabba, nine motorcycles, as well as gold ornaments, cash & cell phones valuing Rs 3.68 million. According to SP investigation Saddar Ghulam Shabir Maken also busted a number of dangerous gangs, involved in the incidents of dacoity, blind murder, robbery, vehicle snatching and other heinous crimes during the month of August.

According to details, Investigation Police Saddar Division traced a case of blind murder FIR No. 935 dated 22 February u/s 302 of PS Chung, murder of bank officer FIR No. 417 dated 19 April u/s 302/34 of PS Nawab Town, FIR No. 364 dated 7 August u/s 395 of PS Manga Mandi Lahore, FIR No. 408 dated 10 June u/s 397 of PS Township, FIR No. 175 dated 21 June u/s 392 of PS Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate Lahore, FIR No. 892 dated 17 August u/s 392 of PS Sabzazar Lahore, FIR No. 487 dated 16 July u/s 392 of PS Township Lahore and FIR No. 347 dated 4 April u/s 457/380 of PS Riawind City and arrested 178 criminals during the period.
