APML welcomes Govt decision on local bodies election: Sam Dada

Lahore: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has welcomed the announcement made by President Asif Ali Zardari regarding holding local governments election before the upcoming general polls.

In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, Sam Dada said that Local Government System made by former President Pervaiz Musharraf has much importance and if the rulers did not abolish the policies of Musharraf the circumstances of the country might be better.

She said that preparations of the APML for the upcoming local government and general election are on rise and it would fully participate both the elections.

“Nazim’s have waisted millions of rupees but no action has been taken by the provincial government even after four years”, she added.
