Lahore: in the perception of dengue epidemic due to rainy season, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Prof. Mahmood Shaukat Organized a walk of the doctors, nurses & paramedical staff of Allama Iqbal College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore on Tuesday 04 September 2012. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Health was the Chief Guest in the event.
Dr. Afzal Shaheen, Medical Superintendent Jinnah Hospital also participated in the walk with hospital staff. The walk started from Administration Block of Allama Iqbal Medical College & participants distributed awareness pamphlets among the public in front of the college.
After the walk, Prof. Mahmood Shaukat, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore addressed the participants of the walk. He especially emphasized on the role of paramedical staff, Horticulture & Sanitary Staff, because without the help of these people, we cannot think about the eradication & elimination of dengue.
