Shalimar town finalize programmes for dengue day

Lahore: Programmes for observing Anti-Dengue Day in Shalimar Town on September 02 have been finalized. Member Provincial Assembly Ch. Shahbaz Ahmad presided over a meeting here today in which it was decided that a seminar would be held at TMA Hall Shalimar Town on September 02 at 9 am in which speeches regarding dengue awareness will delivered and a documentary film will be shown.

Later, Chairman Dengue Response Committee Shalimar Town Pervaiz Malik, Provincial Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Members Provincial Assembly Ch. Shahbaz Ahmad and Raheela Khadim will lead a walk from TMA office to Shalimar Chowk. On this occasion, an awareness rally will also be held which will start from Shalimar Chowk and after passing through graveyard Hafizpur, Singhpura, Wireless Colony, leather market and Gujarpura, will return back and conclude at TMA office.

Administrator Shalimar Colony informed that similar programmes will also be held at each union council for which duties have been assigned to all departments.
