ASI arrested for making fake case

Lahore: An ASI of PS Lower Mall was put behind the bras in his own police station on the orders of CCPO Muhammad Aslam Tareen, here Thursday.
ASI Mehboob Ahmed had booked a citizen Arif Ali in a fake case showing recovery of 15-kg Chars, 1.4 kg of Opium and a pistol from him. When the matter came to the knowledge of the CCPO, he got an immediate enquiry conducted by the SSP Investigation Babar Bakht Qureshi. Upon the charge having been proved, action was initiated and the culprit was put in lock-up.
