Step-motherly treatment is being meted out to Punjab:Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that injustice and highhandedness with regard to loadshedding in Punjab is simply unacceptable. He said that step-motherly treatment is being meted out to Punjab, through agonizing loadshedding and only the Zardari gang is responsible of it.

He said that the lives of the people have become miserable due to long outages on the Eid after Ramazan ul Mubarak but the rulers sitting in Islamabad remained insensitive. The Chief Minister said that he presented the case of Punjab regarding unjust loadshedding in the province during the meeting of the Council of Common Interests in a vigorous manner but the federal government is not sincere in this regard.

Shahbaz Sharif asserted that his tent office set up for expressing solidarity with the people of Punjab would continue to operate till injustice with regard to loadshedding against Punjab and its people is not brought to an end.
