Zalim-e-Aala pay salaries to govt servents:Ch Zaheer

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Punjab General Secretary and Ch Zaheeruddin Khan has said that by not paying salaries to the govt. servants of the Punjab on Eidul Fitr the Provincial Govt. has crossed all limits of employees enmity.

In a statement issued here today, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that the killer of 8 lakhs families and children’s happiness should stop drama of calling himself as “Khadam-e-A’ala” as because of his faulty and defective policies, effects of economic destruction has now reached every home in the province.

He said it is a matter of grave concern that the Punjab Chief Minister had distributed “eidee” totaling Rs 1.30 crore among the employees on his personal service but deprived 8 lakhs govt. servants of salaries on Eidul Fitr which is height of enmity of the employees. Containing, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that this had never happened during the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi that the govt. servants were not paid their salaries ahead of Eid.

He said that as the Chairman Public Accounts Committee, he had directed the Accountant General Punjab a number of times to ensure payment of salaries to the govt. servants on the first of every month but officers working under the patronage of the anti-employees Provincial Govt. have not paid any heed to that. He said that situation has deteriorated to such an extent that there is no money in the treasury for payment of salaries to the govt. servants adding that economic destruction in the province has been caused by the flop and fraud schemes of the Chief Minister.
