Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while extending his heartfelt felicitations to the nation on the occasion of Eid- ul-Fitr has said that this festival demands from the believers that they should make permanent part of their lives the good deeds of simplicity, tolerance and self-purification displayed during the holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarik. He said that on this happy occasion, we should not forget the neglected segment of the society which cannot celebrate Eid. He said that we should help the downtrodden and poor people on such happy occasions by considering it our religious, social and moral obligation.
In his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Shahbaz Sharif said that we should thank Allah Almighty on the happy occasion of Eid, Who bestowed on us His blessings and bounties during Ramzan-ul-Mubarik. He said that the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr brings the message of happiness for the Muslims who celebrate Eid after the month of fasting and worship. He said that on this happy occasion, we will have to pledge that we will make service to the humanity and earning blessings of Almighty Allah as motto of our life. He said that we can earn the blessings of Almighty Allah in this world and the world hereafter by sharing the Eid delights with poor and hapless people. He appealed to the nation to offer special prayers for the security, progress, prosperity and stability of the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and make a pledge that it will play its due role for the development of the country.
