Lahore:Seven bills were passed by Punjab Assembly have become law without Governor’s approval.
According to Assembly officials, the Punjab Assembly had passed these bills till July 19 that were sent to the Governor for his signature. But the governor did not put his sign on them and returned returned them back for review with some objections on these bills.
The Assembly tried to make up deficiency in the bills and resent them to Governor for approval but the Punjab Governor Latif Khosa did not signed on the bills despite lapse of constitutional period.
And than, Assembly officials issued a notification by giving these bills as legal dimension.
These bills include Punjab Civil Servants Bill, Parks and Horticulture Bill, Punjab Supervision of Curriculum Bill, Punjab Animal Slaughter Controller Bill, University of Health Sciences Bill, King Edward Medical College University and Punjab Agriculture University Bill.
