Secretary Information and Culture Punjab witnessed the masterpieces of calligraphy

Lahore: Secretary Information and Culture Punjab, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani inaugurated a calligraphic exhibition arranged by Punjab Council of the Arts at Alhamra, here today. He witnessed the masterpieces of calligraphy displayed at the exhibition and evinced keen interest. He appreciated the fact that the young generation is interested in calligraphy and have all aspects of the art in view. He said that young generation has a vast talent in calligraphy. He expressed satisfaction over the fact that exhibition will provide an opportunity to the students interested in calligraphy to work under one roof so that the world could know about the creative talent of Pakistani students.

Calligraphic works of 150 leading calligraphers including Abdul Wahid Nadar-al-Qalm, Irfan Ahmad Khan, Munawar-ul-Islam Ibne-Qadir-al-Qalm, Arif Khan, Rejan Munawar, Munawar Mohyuddin, Zakir Hussain and other calligraphers have been put on display in the exhibition. A large number of people were present on the occasion. The exhibition will continue till August 6.
