Number of Police officers promoted and transfered

Lahore:Inspector General of Police, Punjab Mohammad Habib-ur-Rehman has issued posting/transfer orders of.

According to a notification, DPO Jhelum, Dar Ali Khan Khattak, Sarfaraz Ahmad Falki, SSP Administration, Lahore, Muhammad Gohar Nafees, SSP Operations, Multan , Shariq Kamal Siddiqui, SSP Disc. & Inspection, Lahore, and Afzal Mahmood Butt, SSP PHP, Gujranwala Region, on their promotion to BS-19 have been directed to continue their current duties.

Whereas, Nasir Mukhtar Rajput, SP PHP, Faisalabad Region, was given acting charge on appointment to BS-19, and will continue as SSP PHP, Faisilabad Region. Rai Babar Saeed, Dy. Director, Elite Police Force, Punjab, was also given acting charge on appointment to BS-19, and posted as SSP, RIB Gujranwala Region. Similarly, Afzaal Ahmad, Kasur DPO Sialkot, will continue as DPO Sialkot after been given acting charge on appointment to BS-19.

Similarly, Muhammad Waqar Abbasi, awaiting posting has been appointed as SSP, Investigation Branch, Punjab, Lahore, against and existing vacancy. Asher Hameed, SSP RIB, Faisalabad is transferred and posted as SSP, Investigation Branch, Punjab, Lahore against and existing vacancy, with immediate effect.
