Ahsan Iqbal chairs meeting for establishment of Model Police Stations in Punjab

Lahore:In order to review the progress of establishment of Model Police Stations in Punjab, a high level meeting held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, MNA/IRG at PRMP Lahore today.
DPO Vehari, Ali Nasir Rizvi, AIG/Vigilance, CPO, SSP/MT Punjab, AIG/Logistics, CPO, Addl. Director Computers, CPO, Punjab, Lahore, Chairman PITB Mr. Faisal Yousaf, Director e-applications PITB, Mr. Pervaiz Shah Qandhari, Consultant for MPSs, Dr. Usman Shaukat, Consultant for MPSs, Dr, Kasif Z. Malik, LUMS, Dr. Adeel Faheem, LUMS also attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed in detail the matters relating to Monitoring mechanism, Computer Training, IT Training, Purchase of Vehicles and Motor Cycles for MPSs.

In the meeting Model Police Station Danewal District Vehari was declared as Pilot project. Ahsan Iqbal directed the participants to expedite the process of establishing process of Model Police Stations across the province so that its inauguration could be possible in the month of August.
