DG Rescue contract extended

Lahore:The Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has approved the extension in the contract period of Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) in view of his exemplary performance and managerial skills. His service contract has been extended for next three years in accordance with the Punjab Emergency Service Act, 2006.

Dr. Rizwan Naseer is the pioneer Director General of Rescue Service which was started in 2004 in Lahore and now functional in all 36 Districts of Punjab. Rescue Service has rescued over 1.4 million victims of emergencies all over Punjab. In view of positive socio economic impact of the Service, it has also been replicated by other provinces and has become a model for SARC region.
