profiteers and hoarders would be dealt with iron hands:Iqbal Channer

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Prisons Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer has said that government has evolved a foolproof plan to deal those violating the sanctity of Holy Ramadan, with iron hand. He expressed these views during meeting with different delegations from Bahawalpur division, at his Lahore office today.
He said that practical measures would be taken against the profiteers and hoarders besides all the shopkeepers would be monitored regularly. He said that foolproof security arrangements have been completed in all the mosques of the province.
He said that 322 Ramadan Bazaars would be set up throughout the province during the month of Ramadan while huge amount of four billion rupees would be spent on the provision of relief to the masses. He said that Labour Department has been directed to regularly check weights and measures while district administration has been bound to beef up the security of the mosques in the entire province.
