Transport companies will be set up in Rawalpindi and Faisalabad on LTC style

Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that transport companies will be set up in Rawalpindi and Faisalabad on the pattern of Lahore Transport Company and 100 buses to be received from Turkey will be plied on the routes of backward and poor localities.

This was stated by him while presiding over a meeting regarding provision of transport facility to the people, at Minar-e-Pakistan Tent Office, here today. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan, MPA Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretaries of Finance & Transport Departments and officers concerned were present. Secretary Transport gave a detailed briefing to the Chief Minister regarding the purchase of new buses.
