Incompetent CM is responsible for Lahore and Gujrat incidents:Deputy PM Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore:Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader Ch Parvez Elahi has said that the incompetent Chief Minister is responsible for tragic incidents of Lahore and Gujrat, all this has happened due to “Tent Drama” and that the so-called “Khadam-e-A’ala” passes on the responsibility of everything on others and suspends them or sends them to jail.

He said that we pay tributes to the martyrs of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah and are with the bereaved families in their moments of sorrow and grief. He said if a Chief Minister has no good team, how he can look after a province. He was addressing workers convention at the residence of Muslim League leader Syed Azmat Shah and talking to media people in Gujrat this evening. Federal Minister for Human Resource Ch Wajahat Hussain, former Provincial Minister Mian Imran Masood, Abdullah Yousuf, Khalid Ghural, Sadat Nawaqz Ajnala, Syed Atif Azmat and Akbar Ibrahim were among the several Muslim League leaders who were present on the occasion.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that crime rate in Punjab has now increased by 35 per cent, 100 dacoities are being committed in every district of the province daily adding the development works undertaken by us during our tenure are unprecedented in the history of Pakistan.
He expressed his heartfelt sorrow and grief over the loss of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah Police employees. He said this has happened due to incompetency and inefficiency of the Chief Minister adding that that it was his responsibility but he has deployed entire Police Force on his “tent drama”. He said that the present Chief Minister has no time off his these dramas and as such how could he be expected to ensure safety of Punjab.
He said that schemes like Sasti Roti, Daanish Schools and yellow cabs have failed in Punjab today and asked that Shahbaz Sharif should any one of his good work which he has done for the welfare of the people of the province. He said the people are still remembering host of development wortks which were started and completed by us. He said we had established a university in Gujrat and the present rulers are trying to fail it. He said because of establishment of the Gujrat University, girls are securing higher education with dignity, respect.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we are making serious efforts in a determined manner for resolving energy crisis. He said the situation has improved considerably and, Inshallah, it would improve further during Ramzanul Mubarik, He said if the so-called “Khadam-e-A’ala” had implemented Ch Shujat formula then the crisis would have been over by now.

Continuing, he said like the previous years, Ramzan Package has also been prepared this year for sale of large number of essential and daily use articles at reduced rates the Utility Stores during Ramzanul Mubarik. He said this would greatly benefit the people at large. He said there would be marked improvement in whatever field our people are working and whatever is done with good intention is blessed with success by Almighty Allah.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that whatever promises we had made we all accomplished those with the blessings of Almighty Allah and in future we would try our level best to come up to the expectations of the people.He said that nothing right is being done in the province due to presence of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.
He said if we got the opportunity we would construct Sialkot Motorway and bridge and the residents of Gujrat would reach Lahore by motorway only in one hour and fifteen minutes.
