200 N-League notables of Wazirabad join PML-Q

Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and Deputy Prime Minister & senior central leader Ch Parvez Elahi have said that PML is an ideological party which is following the guiding principles of the Quaid-i-Azam. They said that N-League leaders joining the PML reflects the faith of the people in our policies, we have served the people both while in power and out of power, Sajid Hussain Chatha is an honest man of principles and he would come up to the expectations of people of Wazirabad. They were speaking on the occasion of more than 200 N-League notables of Wazirabad joining Pakistan Muslim League under the leadership of PML’s nominated candidate NA-101 Wazirabad here in Islamabad today. Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Imtiaz Ahmad Ranjha was also present. Those who joined PML included Brigadier ® Zubair Ahmad Chatha, Ch Khalid Mahmud Cheema, Ajmal Zia Cheema, Mian Mahmud Iqbal, Arshad Manzur Bhatti, Mirza Muhammad Afzal, Mukhtar Ahmad Chatha, Malik Farasat Mahmud, Haji Sarwar, Khurrum Kamran Bhinder, Rana Nadeem Akhtar, Ahmad Jahangir Chatha, Rana Ghiasuddin, Dr Azam Cheema and Khan Muhammad Cheema among host of others. Continuing, Ch Parvez Elahi said that how could a Chief Minister who could not form his team could create a province adding that claiming to work for unification of the Muslim League are in fact spreading chaos and we have closed their way. He said that wave of change has started blowing across the Punjab province, people have become politically conscious, they can now discriminate between the right and the wrong and they know who was the real “Khadam-e-A’ala” and who is the so-called “Khadam-e-A’ala”. Ch Parvez Elahi said that PML is gaining strength and popularity day by day and people are joining it large number. Welcoming the N-Leaguers from Wazirabad in the fold of Pakistan Muslim League, Ch Parvez Elahi said that their Joining PML would prove last nail in the political coffin of those who were hoping they would be winning next polls from Wazirabad. He said that Sajid Hussain Chatha would prove too strong for those conspiring to break the Muslim League. Ch Parvez Elahi maintained that during our tenure, we did lot of development works but paucity of funds was never felt, our intention was good so Almighty Allah blessed us with success. He said because of the flop schemes of the present so-called “Khadam-e-A’ala”, the province is on the verge of being bankrupt. He said that we accomplished such development works during our tenure which were never been done previously in the history of the country. He said these included 2211 Service, free medicines in hospitals, free books, establishment of patrolling posts, exemption of 12 and half acres of land from agriculture income tax, provision of laser leveler etc. He said present era’s schemes of tandoor, Ashiana, yellow cabs schemes have been launched in the name of the poor people to benefit handful of rich people. He said that Cardiology Centre Wazirabad has been made a victim of politics of Shahbaz Sharif. He said the MPA from this area preferred to serve his master rather than serving the people and never uttered a single word for the Cardiology Centre on the floor of the Provincial Assembly. Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Muslim League Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed welcoming those joining the PML said that they are in fact joining the family of Pakistan Muslim League. He said our party is not one man show and the workers are the backbone of this party adding our slogan is “Team work and Home work”. Sajid Hussain Chatha invited Ch Parvez Elahi to visit Wazirabad and address a public meeting there. He said the people are keenly awaiting the return of the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi. He said Punjab belongs to Muslim League and we would take back this province and people with vested interests would fail. Leaders joining PML Rana Nadeem Akhtar, Ahmad Jahangir Chatha, and Haji Iftikhar in their speeches said that those who have joined Pakistan Muslim League today were holding important local offices in N-League and they have joined real Muslim League by leaving NLeague without caring for power and offices because of anti-people and defective policies of the Sharif Brothers and the local MNA.
