Youth education on right direction is our national obligation:DG Social Welfare Punjab

Lahore:Director General Social Welfare Punjab Malik Aslam has said that youth is our future and their education and training on right direction is our national obligation.

This was stated by him while talking to a representative delegation of registered welfare organizations working for drug free city project, here today. Delegation include President Safe Child Foundation Shahzad Anjum Baig and others. Director General Social Welfare said that various programmes are being organized with the cooperation of Social Welfare Department against drugs and especially protecting our youth from this menace. He said that media as well as welfare organizations are playing vital role for creating awareness among youths regarding drugs. Safe Child Foundation’s President Shahzad Anjum Baig disclosed that 27 NGOs are working in Lahore for curbing the menace of drugs and the scope is extended from public places to educational institutions.
