Ch Brothers pay tribute to Cameron Munter

Islamabad:Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi hosted a farewell luncheon reception in honour of outgoing US Ambassador Cameron Munter has this afternoon.
The luncheon reception was also attended by acting British High Commissioner Allison Blake, Ambassador of France Philippe Theiband, German Ambassador Dr. Cyrill Nunn, Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Oe and Ambassador of Argentina Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia.
PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Federal Ministers Ch. Wajahat Hussain, Mir Jam Muhammad Yousuf, Talib Hussain Nakai, Sh. Waqas Akram, Sardar Shahjehan Yousuf and Mir Naseer Khan Mengal, MNA Nausheen Saeed, Mrs. Farrukh Khan, Mrs. Tariq Aziz and PML Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah President Syed Qasim Shah were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Shujat Hussain appreciated the professional services of the US Ambassador and said that Cameron Munter played an important role in bringing US and Pakistan closer to each other in a difficult time. He said the US Ambassador during his two years stay here faced different challenges and as a result of his untiring diplomacy, relations between Pakistan and US are now gradually moving towards betterment.
Ch. Shujat Hussain further said that Ambassador Cameron Munter created a place for himself in the hearts of the people through masses diplomacy and played the role of a strong bridge between Pakistan and US. He said that professional diplomat like Cameron Munter would always be missed in Pakistan and his well-wishes here would keenly await his return to Pakistan.
In response, Cameron Munter said that Pakistani nation is a courageous and strong nation which has always faced difficulties boldly and emerged more stronger after every difficult time. He said because of these good qualities of a nation, Pakistan is moving towards betterment and all are confident about its brighter future tomorrow.
He thanked Ch. Shujat Hussain and Ch. Parvez Elahi for their very warm and specialized hospitality.
