Strict action would be taken in case of misusing dengue brigade:Commissioner Lahore

Lahore:Commissioner Lahore Division Jawad Rafiq Malik has ordered to take strict action against the officers and officials involved in using official vehicles of Dengue Brigade for personal purposes. He also directed to hold regular meetings of Emergency Response Committee at All TMA offices and those officers will be terminated on non-compliance.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting regarding the anti-dengue arrangements at Commissioners Officer. He said that instead of creasing harassment among public, measures for creating awareness among public should be taken. He directed the Health Department officers to pay special attention on larva surveillance and high risk areas of the previous year should be monitored continuously and submit photographic reports of the work done so far on daily basis so that arrangements could be made on emergency basis. He directed the Town Officers to constitute special teams for the inspection of tyre shops and compliance on Anti Dengue Regulations should be made strictly. He also directed to submit report of cleanliness of godowns of all towns after making the survey of these godowns. He made it clear to the officers that if the timely anti-dengue arrangements are made it will help to control this menace. He further said that there are more apprehension of spreading of this menace therefore we will have to work with more responsibility and dedication to control this menace.
