Shahbaz Sharif shows grief over the sad demise of one-and-a-half-year old child

Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of grief, sorrow and anger over the sad demise of one-and-a-half-year old child, including deaths of other innocent persons, due to doctors’ strike in various hospitals of Punjab.

In a statement, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that deaths of innocent patients is a most painful tragedy over which his heart is deeply saddened. He said that uncalled for strike of doctors, and their refusal to attend to dying patients, despite the fact that Punjab Government awarded them package, worth billions of rupees, and increased their salaries in an unprecedented manner, are highly condemnable. The Chief Minister said that all his sympathies are with the heirs of the deceased patients, and vowed that Punjab Government would continue to make strenuous efforts to provide best possible alternative medical care to the ailing humanity to the maximum level.
