Raja Pervaiz Ashraf appointed as the new prime minister of Pakistan


Sources have confirmed that the parliament of Pakistan have selected Raja Pervaiz Ashraf as the new prime minister of Pakistan. Mind it that in the past Pervaiz had serious allegations of corruption in rental power projects and the supreme court of Pakistan had terminated him.
The official announcement is set to made after Jummah prayer.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s profile:
Raja Pervez Ashraf was born on December 26 1950 in Sanghar, Sindh.

He did his B.A from University of Sindh in 1970 and started his professional career as a businessman and agriculturist.
He also obtained a diploma in industrial management from England in 1974.

Raja Pervez Ashraf remained Chairman of Social Action from 1994-1996. He was elected as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) in 2002 and 2008 elections from NA-51, Rawalpindi-II.

He also served as Federal Minister for Water and Power in the PM Yousaf Raza Gillani-led cabinet.
