LHC Registrar shows concern over clash

Lahore:On the direction of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore, the Registrar Mr. Sohail Nasir has shown his deep concern over an occurrence between two parties which took place in the premises of Lahore High Court on 21.06.2012.

Mr. Nasir had directed DSP Security to enhance security arrangements. He clarified that no one shall be allowed to create law and order situation in the premises of High Court and all such elements shall be dealt with an iron hand and strictly in accordance with law.

Earlier, the Registrar had conveyed his displeasure to City Traffic Officer because of non-presence of Wardens on their duty at the Judges Gate of Lahore High Court. Resultantly on Friday DSP Traffic had visited all adjacent roads of Lahore High Court and directed all Wardens to perform their duty with full devotion so as to ensure smooth traffic flow.

At the same time City Traffic Officer had also issued show cause notices to the delinquent Wardens, namely Farooq Salak and Ibraheem who were found absent from their duty at the relevant time.
