Pakistan always proponent of peaceful co-existence: Gen. Khalid Wynne

Karachi: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Khalid Shameem Wynne said here on Thursday that Pakistan has always been a proponent of peaceful co-existence and has no aggressive designs against any country.He was speaking as chief guest at the induction of first fast attack craft PNS Azmat at the PN Dockyard here.The CJCSC however stated that ‘we cannot remain oblivious of the requirements of country’s defence’.He said that the induction of PNS Azmat in the Pakistan Navy Fleet today is the embodiment of persistent endeavours of Pakistan Navy to remain relevant in the contemporary environment through induction of state of the art platforms.Gen. Khalid was sure that the capabilities and firepower of this potent platform will help strengthen the defence of the country’s territorial waters.
