Yosuf Raza Gilani performed Umra

Makkah: Prime Minister Syed Yosuf Raza Gilani Monday performed Umra and prayed for peace, prosperity, solidarity of Pakistan.The Prime Minister who arrived here yesterday to attend the funeral of Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, performed Umra along with other members of his delegation, including Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah.He prayed to Allah Almighty for strength to the nation to help it confront the internal and external challenges courageously.Prime Minister Gilani earlier joined other world leaders and offered the funeral prayers for the Crown Prince at the Masjid-e-Haram.He also conveyed the condolences on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and termed the death of Prince Nayef as “a great loss” for the entire Ummah.
