CBC test shall not charge more than Rs. 90:Punjab Government

Lahore:Punjab government has extended the order issued by the Administrator, City District Government, Lahore regarding fee of CBC test, up to 13.07.2012. According to these orders no owner or person in possession or management of any Private Laboratory having facility of machines for conducting complete blood count (CBC) test shall not charge more than Rs. 90/- for this test, this price shall be displayed at the prominent place in the Laboratory and all Medical Superintendent / Managers or Private Hospitals having premises for outpatient services (OPD) shall provide facility for clinical examination of dengue suspected patients and conduct of CBC test free of cost. A message to this effect shall be displayed at the prominent places in the Hospitals.
