CNG association problems should be resolved:Ch Shujaat

Gujrat:Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain has asked Federal Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh to take immediate notice of the demands and problems of the CNG Association.

He said this while talking to a delegation which called on him at his residence today under the leadership of CNG Association Gujrat President Chaudhry Ashraf Dhillon. Haji Anwar Tahir was also present on the occasion.

He asked the Finance Minister to sympathetically consider the demands put forth by the CNG Association and steps should be taken to end the strike at the earliest possible in order to relieve the people of their worries in this regard.

Delegation demanded of the government that gas rates should not be increased further nor tax should be enhanced. The delegation said that the CNG Association is also emphasizing that load shedding should be reduced to two days from three days.

The delegation leader and members thanked Ch Shujat Hussain for paying full attention to the problems and difficulties of the CNG Association and expressed the hope that for solution of their genuine demands, efforts of Ch Shujat Hussain would prove fruitful.
