Atlast CCPO out to see people problems

Lahore:Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen has ordered Lahore Police to make entry and exit points pickets more effectively, so flow of criminal elements in and out of the city can be rigorously checked.
CCPO further ordered the officers of Lahore Police to step outside their offices and work in the field to provide security to the citizens.
Muhammad Aslam Tareen directed eradication of criminal elements in the city in order to make provincial metropolis an example of maintenance of law and order. He pointed out that he himself is supervising the campaign of arresting proclaimed offenders so that those criminal elements who are escaping from the hands of law can be arrested and awarded exemplary punishments.
CCPO said that clout of police force should only be used against anti-social elements, terrorists, drug sellers and other bad elements, and not against law-abiding citizens.
He also paid visit to Cantt Division. During the visit, CCPO inquired about the problems of the citizens, present there and particularly checked record, registers of Police stations. CCPO warned that those involved in corruption or not registering complaints of citizens would be proceeded against strongly.
