Raids in city

Lahore:On the directions of DCO Lahore Noor ul Amin Mengal action has been taken against illegal slaughter houses and selling of unhygienic meat in the city today and monitoring teams conducted 118 raids in various areas and registered 20 FIRs against butchers in different police stations on violations. Overall 535kg unhygienic meat has been discarded during action

Food inspectors checked the quality of food items of 339 hotels, marriage halls, sweets & bakers and other shops during last 48 hours and took 106 samples of different food items on various outlets. Food inspectors imposed Rs 46,500/- fine for selling unhygienic and substandard food items.
