Bilawal to ask Gilani why he appointed accused of Benazir as senior minister:APML

Lahore: APML spokes person Sam Dada  has strongly reacted to the allegations leveled by Bilawal Zardari and Asifa Zardari against former President Pervez Musharraf and advised both the youngsters to question their own uncle, prime minister Gilani why he had appointed a person in his cabinet as senior minister who had been nominated by their slain mother as her killer in her e-letter.

“Both the youngsters should question their own prime minister why had he inducted the then chief minister Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi, as senior minister in his cabinet. Moreover, they should also inquire as to how the then chief security of their mother has now become interior minister of the country,” she said.   

In a statement issued here, Sam Dada reminded that provision of security to the former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was responsibility of local and provincial governments and the president of the country did not figure anywhere in this regard. 

“If Pervez Musharraf is being blamed only for the fact that he was the then President of the country when Benazir Bhutto was killed, then Benazir Bhutto should be blamed for the killing of their uncle Mir Murtaza Bhutto as she was the then prime minister of the country,’ Sam maintained.

She further said that when another uncle of Bilawal and Asifa, Salman Taseer, was gunned down in the federal capital, their own father, Asif Zardari, was to be blamed who was the then president of the country.
