Helpline launched for children and women

Lahore:Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz inaugurated a “Madadgar” helpline (111-911-922) with the cooperation of Women Workers Helpline and Lawyers for Human Rights and Legal Aid for the children and women facing violence. This helpline will be launched at national level in all the four provincial capitals. Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz said that this is the first helpline for the children and women facing social violence, injustice and exploitation. She said that this helpline will provide counseling and guideline to the children and the women. She said that this project will provide services solution for the problems like violence, injustice, exploitation through different organizations which is including hospitals, shelters, lawyers, law enforcement agencies and media.
