PPP wary of Asif Hashmi’s hobnobbing with Sharifs

LAHORE-The PPP circles have become wary of senior party leader and Chairman  ETPB Syed Asif Hashmi’s growing links with PML-N leaders.
Their suspicions got further strengthened when the PML-N media office released on Wednesday a picture showing Mr Hashmi sharing some ‘vital information’ with Nawaz Sharif at Data Darbar where the latter had gone to attend the funeral prayer of Bilal Yasin’s father. 
According to the caption given to the picture, Hashmi congratulated Nawaz on his successful visit to Sindh. A party leader from Lahore who sought anonymity said that PPP leadership must take notice of  Hashmi’s hobnobbing with the Sharifs.  Another one, however, said that it is quite possible that Mr Hashmi might have met Sharifs’  to discuss issues relating to devolution of ETPB necessitated after passage of 18th  amendment.
