Lahore : Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch has said the PTI government has also failed to address the issue of missing persons like its predecessors regimes of the PML-N, the PPP and Parvez Musharraf.
In a statement issued from Mansoora on Friday, he called for legislation on the issue of forced kidnapping. He said the enemies of the country could use the families of the missing persons to fulfill their vested interested if the issue was not resolved on priority basis.
Baloch said the prime minister was not looking serious to take
action against the mafias involved in creating sugar, flour and
energy crises. He said the meeting of Milli Yakjehti Council will be held on June 13 (Saturday) in Islamabad to discuss the prevailing situation.
