Book Like “First Muslim” should be ban : Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore : Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that it was very essential to ban publication and sale of books containing blasphemous material The First Muslim, After The Prophet and Short History of Islam, our lives be sacrificed on Rehmat ul-Lil-Alameen, Khatam ul Nabiyeen Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ), Ummahat-ul-Momineen, Khulfa e Rashedeen , Ahle Bait and All Sahaba Karam (Ridwan Ullah Aleyhim Ajmae’en).

He said that the door for publication of Islamic and historical facts in a wrong manner has been closed forever.

He said that on the recommendation of the Punjab Assembly’s Special Committee, the Home Department has completely banned the three books and has also issued notification for immediately stopping their publication and confiscation of these books present in the market and other material.

It may be recalled that in the Punjab Assembly, Pakistan Muslim League’s Minister for Mines Hafiz Ammar Yasir was first to raise voice on this issue and presented resolution in the Punjab Assembly for banning these books.
