Mian Aslam Iqbal visits the markets to review implementation on SOPs

Lahore : Provincial Industries & Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal undertook speedy visits of Township market, Karim market and other bazaars to review implementation on SOPs in these markets.

The Minister ordered to seal various shops with regard to violating SOPs and also not wearing masks by few shopkeepers and customers. He also advised the customers to wear masks while visiting markets and other public places.

Aslam Iqbal directed to immediately remove encroachments in front of the shops. He emphasized that only those traders can continue to run their business who act upon and implement SOPs. He warned that violation of SOPs in the markets will not be tolerated at any cost. He lamented non-serious attitude of those persons for not adopting precautionary measures while visiting public places.

The Minister underscored that those persons who are not taking corona pandemic seriously are not only endangering their own lives but also of others lives. He advised that the only way to save ourselves from coronavirus lies in adhering to precautionary measures.

He stressed upon traders to fulfill their responsibilities regarding implementation on SOPs in the markets. He further urged the shopkeepers to ensure maintaining social distance, usage of sanitizers and masks.

The Minister resolved that monitoring process of the markets will continue in the same spirit.
