National unity essential to meet India’s aggressive designs : Farid Piracha

Lahore : Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, has said that a complete national unity and the spirit of Jehad among the masses was essential to meet India’s aggressive designs.

In a statement here on Thursday, he said that the government would have to take all necessary measures in this direction. He said that the opposition parties would also have to demonstrate a complete unanimity and harmony in regard to the solidarity of the country and the agenda of the liberation of
Kashmir.

Dr Farid Piracha said that that Indian government headed by Modi, was losing its popularity because of its biased agenda as New Delhi was busy in aggression against China, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Dr Farid Piracha said that Pakistan must give a befitting response to India’s aggression. The government, he said, should call a joint session of the parliament for working out a defensive strategy through consensus. Besides, he said, the government should also work out a media policy in line with the nation’s, sentiments against New Delhi and implement it.
