Punjab govt financial aid cheque dishonoured from bank

Lahore : Punjab govt financial aid cheque of Rs 100 millions had been dishonoured from the bank. CM Usman Buzdar had given that amount on the intervene of speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi so needy from legal fraternity who were facing difficult economic conditions due to lock down in the courts becuase of Corona virus .

The lawyers of Lahore Bar had met speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi on 25 the of April and briefed them about the worst economic conditions of the lawyers due to courts closure due to Coronavirus.

The Speaker asked the CM Usman Buzdar to take a lenient view of the matter and issue grant for lawyers who facing difficulties due to economic crisis.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar gave a cheque worth Rs 100 million to a delegation of Lahore High Court Bar Association for the facilitation of lawyers facing financial crunch due to coronavirus pandemic on 28th of April 2020.

Talking on this occasion, the CM said that government would provide every possible resource as it was fully cognizant of problems being faced by the legal fraternity.

The lawyers had put this matter to the general council saying that if government would not solved this matter than they would file a suit in the court of law after the eid vacations.
