Lahore : Ameer Jamaat e Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq, on Thursday, called on the British High Commissioner in Islamabad, Dr Christian Turner, and expressed deep grief over the large scale deaths in Britain due to Corona.
At the meeting, the JI Chief also briefed the British diplomat
about the services being rendered by the JI and the Al-Khidmat
Foundation to the people affected by corona, including the supply
of ration and necessities of life.
The British High Commissioner appreciated the services of the two organizations for the human beings in distress.
Senator Sirajul Haq drew the attention of the British High Commissioner to the lock down in held Kashmir for the last nine months and the oppression of the Kashmiris by the Indian troops. He said the Kashmir issue had been on the UN agenda for seventy years awaiting solution. He said that since the Kashmir issue had been created by the British, it was primarily the
responsibility of Britain to help solve the issue.
The British diplomat expressed deep concern over the human rights violations in Kashmir and the atrocities being perpetrated by the occupation forces. He said that his country was ready to play its role for the solution of the issue and it would raise the issue at every forum .
The JI Chief also apprised the British High Commissioner of the problems being faced by the Pakistanis living in England. The High Commissioner assured him of his full support for the solution of the problems.
