Lahore : About one hundred men and women called on the deputy Chief of the Jamaat e Islami Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, at Mansoora to complain against the oppressive policies of the Bahria Town management. They apprised the JI deputy chief of their grievances and put forth their demands.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Farid Piracha said that the grievances and the people were genuine and their demands were justified. He said that the JI would support them at every level.
He stressed upon the Bahria Town management to withdraw its notice giving the dead line of May 20 to the allottees of plots to pay different charges which were unlawful.
Earlier ; Secretary General JIP Ameer ul Azim demanded Bahria Town administration to revisit it policy regarding receiving of installments of plots as the whole economy has down due to Coronavirus. Talking to media in press conference , Ameer ul Azeem said Jamaat e Islami fully support the victims of Bahria Town.
