Lahore : Sarfraz Ahmed Khan, a former Member, Federal Board of Revenue and a leader of the Jamaat e Islami, breathed his last here on Thursday after a brief illness.
The deceased had been the chief of the JI, Sheikhupura, and a member of the JI central Shoora.,
Ameer, JIP, Senator Sirajul Haq, JI Secretary General, Amirul Azeem and other central leaders of the JI have expressed deep grief over the demise of Sarfraz Ahmed Khan. ,
The JI chief, Sirajul Haq, in a condolence message said that late Sarfraz Ahmed Khan was an upright bureaucrat and a dedicated worker of the JI. He said that after retirement from FBR, the deceased had devoted his life for the service of Islam and establishment of the supremacy of Deen.
He said that in the death of Sarfraz Ahmed Khan, the country had lost a great personality. He prayed that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace.
