Punjab government to immediately release funds for lawyers : Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore : Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi has asked the Punjab Government to immediately release funds to lawyers in order to help them to face difficult time created due to Coronavirus , delay in this regard would be no benefit for the legal fraternity.

He said that the entire world is presently victim of pandemic disease, every segment in Pakistan is suffering from financial difficulties, Punjab Government is helping white collared people under Ehsas Programme but the lawyers, who are a backbone in the country, are deprived so far.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that the summary prepared for funds for the lawyers should be approved forthwith because the lawyers can neither do any business nor any job, the government is duty bound to provide every possible help to the lawyers community in this difficult time.
