Lahore : Chairman Barabri Party Pakistan Jawad Ahmad said that the IPPs companies and their sympathizers need to be dealt with an iron hand .
In a press statement Jawad Ahmad said that because the nexus of bureaucrats, politicians and businessmen new public projects were not installed after the 90s. Instead they allowed private sector to generate electricity, which made a profit of 207 billion by investing 57 billion only.
Due to these expensive contracts,world’s most expensive electricity is being made in Pakistan which we buy at a rate of 12 cents while in Bangladesh the rate is 6.8 cents. He said that a forensic audit of these companies is essential at this time.
He further said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan is using the Tiger Force to strengthen the constituencies of PTI parliamentary members. Aid is only reaching those who are registered with the government while the daily laborers, the street vendors and poor farmers are looking at the government with hopelessly but the government is totally apathetic to their plight.
