Lahore : Punjab Minister for Minerals Hafiz Ammar Yasir has rebuffed federal minister Fawad Chaudhry terming his statement about Ulema as regrettable and irresponsible.
He demanded Prime Minister to take immediate notice of his statement.
Hafiz Ammar Yasir said that character assassination of a prominent religious scholar, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman was a shameful act . He said that the Fawad Ch should be careful while commenting about any religious scholar . He termed Fawad Ch’s statements were shameful.
Provincial Minerals Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir said that the Ulema are respectable for us.
Hafiz Ammar Yasir stated that the joint declaration which ulema of all schools of thoughts issued, keeping that in view we need to formulate such a balanced policy for the future on the basis of which circumstances could be brought under control.
