LHC orders to release theft case prisoner

Lahore : LHC has ordered to release 17 years old theft prisoner who was booked in the case when he was only 2 years old.

Mr . Justice Asjad Javaid Ghural heard the case and expressed displeasure to Sialkot police upon fixing a 2 years old child Muhammad Rafiq in a theft case . The court was briefed that the complainant by joining hands with Bandana Police lodged a FIR of theft in 2015 after 10 years of the incident happened in 2005 and arrest was made a few days back.

The kid’s father stated that police kept his son in illegal custody and prayed for his immediate release.
