Arif Nawaz takes charge as IG Pakistan Railways

Lahore : Inspector General of Police Capt (R) Arif Nawaz Khan has assumed the charge of IG Pakistan Railways Police .

On his arrival at CPO Railways Lahore Gun Salute presented to him whereas DIG HQ Azhar Rasheed Khan and other senior officers wel omed him and later briefed him about the working of Railways Police.

IG Capt Arif Nawaz said that he came to improve the standard of Railways Police and every legitimate problem of the cops would be resolved.Modern techniques and technology would be introduced in Railways Police to safeguard the national department and to provide sense of security to the comuters he added.

He directed Rail cops to follow the rules while performing their duties and take necessary measures to safeguard themselves from Corona.
