Islamabad High Court suspends Nawaz Sharif sentence for 8 weeks

Lahore : Islamabad High Court has suspended Nawaz Sharif sentence in Al Azizia case for 8 weeks on medical ground.

The court said if more time needed for medication than the accused may contact to the government for further time.

Today , the division bench headed by chief justice of Islamabad High Court Mr justice Ather Minullah heard the arguments from both sides . Nawaz Sharif lawyer Kh Haris argued that Nawaz Sharif condition was not well and he needed treatment. The medical board yet failed to improve his condition and his life was in danger.

Dr Adnan stated that he never saw Nawaz Sharif such condition , his life is in danger.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar stated that government was providing beat medical treatment to Nawaz Sharif and he expressed his satisfaction upon it.

NAB lawyer proposed conditional bail for treatment and did not oppose timefraned bail on medical ground but stated that the accused should not be granted permanent bail.
