PM appoints COAS as a member of NDC

Lahore : Prime Minister Imran Khan has signed to constitute a 14 members ” National Development Council ” under his chairmanship.

According to the notification ; other 13 members would be foreign minister , Finance minister or advisor to PM for finance , minister for planning and development, minister for commerce , Chief of Army Staff , PM AJK , CM of all provinces ,CM Gilgat Baltistan on invitation, Head of Strategic Body on invitation, secretary to PM , secretary to Foreign Affairs, Secretary Finance division , Secretary planning and development and additional secretary PM office as secretary of council.

It was first time happened that COAS is appointed as a member of any council constitute for economic affairs.
