Quds Day rallies held all over Pakistan

Lahore : International Quds Day rallies held all over Pakistan marked solidarity with Palestinians and rejected so-called deal of the century, here on Friday.

The largely attended Quds rallies from Karachi to Islamabad and the rest of the country were declared a referendum against deal of the century.

The supporters of oppressed Palestinians turned out massively and vowed to continue their support for independent Palestine state with al-Quds as its capital.

Male and female students, youths, elderly people and even families with their minor children were seen at the Quds Day rallies.

They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans such as: No to Israel, Down with America, No to sell out of Palestine in the name of deal of the century.

The participants also chanted slogans in favour of their demands.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and many other organizations organized Quds Day rallies across Pakistan.

In Karachi and Lahore, joint rallies of many organizations were taken out.

The key speakers at these rallies included:Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, Allama Amin Shaheedi, Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Allama Baqar Abbas Zaidi, Nasir Abbas Sheerazi, Maulana Sadiq Jafri, Allama Mubashir Hasan, Allama Ali Anwer Jafri, Allama Maqsood Ali, Maulana Dost Ali Saeedi, Allama Mukhtar Imami,Chaudhry Azhar, Agha Munnawar Jafri, Maulana Ahmed Ali, Maulana Muhammad Ali Shar, Maulana Naqi, Maulana Saif and others.

They recalled that the great revolutionary leader Imam Khomeini had called for observance of Quds Day to revive the otherwise dead issue of Palestine.

They cited that father of the nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah and National Poet of Pakistan Allama Iqbal also had turned down Jewish state on Arab majority Palestine.

Therefore, they urged Pakistan government to play active role in highlighting Palestine issue at all diplomatic forums.

They said Palestine belongs to Palestinians and the entire Islamic world. Hence, those Arab regimes who want to sell out Palestine neither enjoy the authority nor has any legitimacy to do so.
MWM Central Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that Palestinians and specially their resistance groups have rebuffed the so-called deal of the century; therefore, those seeking to facilitate in imposing this deal on Palestinians would be considered traitors.

The Quds Day rallies speakers said that so-called deal of the century aimed to expand ‘Greater Israel.’ They said that this deal aims to deprive Palestinians of their inalienable rights.

Hence, Palestinians and the Muslims and Arabs across the world have disapproved this deal. They said that resistance bloc has become stronger and nobody could save Israel from Palestinian resistance movements and their supporters.

They emphasised that Pakistan government needs to act upon the Palestine policy of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah who turned down Jewish state on Arab majority Palestine.

That is why Pakistani nation never recognized Israel since Pakistani nation considers it is a fake and illegitimate state. They vowed that Holy Quds, the first qibla of Muslims, would be liberated alongside all occupied parts of Palestine.
