Transgenders stuns the crowd by their performance in Punjab Games

Lahore : Competitions of chati race, bori race and tug of war were held between two teams of transgender in 72^nd Punjab games.

It is worth mentioning that first time in the history of country 3 events have been included in 72^nd Punjab games for transgender.

Provincial Minister for sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said that transgender are an important part of our society they have to brought in the mainstream. He said that first time present government think about them and include 3 events for the transgender for restoring their confidence.

He said that promotion of sports is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and government is taking practical measures for providing healthy recreational facilities to the youth. In a response to a question, he said that Punjab games major and big event thousands of players are participating from various districts if there are some complaints regarding indiscipline that would be redressed.
